What is the "real" URL of my PageBuilder Website?
The URL (or website address) which we take for granted as the real URL of our PageBuilder websites is not the "real, true URL" of our sites. In fact, many computer users cannot get to our websites because their browsers are redirected to the REAL URL, and some browsers reject the use of "redirects.
So, it is sometimes necessary to provide others with our real, true URLs so that they can access our pages!
To find the "real" URL of your PageBuilder website, follow these steps:
€ 1. Go to your PageBuilder website
€ 2. Press the "Go To" key and click on "Show Current" to display your URL
€ 3. Hold down your CMD key and press the letter A (to highlight the URL)
€ 4. Hold down the CMD key and press the letter C (to copy the URL)
€ 5. Go to
http://www.scrubtheweb.com/cgi-bin/webtools/meta-check.cgi?ad=abshtml
€ 6. You may have to use one tap of your Scroll Down key to find the text box which begins with http://
€ 7. With your cursor in the box, use your Delete key to erase the http://
€ 8. Hold down your CMD key and press the letter V (to paste your PB URL into the box)
€ 9. Click on the words Process URL immediately below the box (or simply press your Return key after pasting the URL)
€ 10. On the next screen, you will see some information which looks like this:
